VIDEO SUBMISSIONS

​If you are not able to attend in-person, please select a 1 minute monologues and submit by the close of in-person auditions on February 10th to lisa@verobeachtheatreguild.com. Be sure and slate the submission with your name and role that you are auditioning for.

REHEARSALS

Rehearsals begin February 23rd. Rehearsals will be held 4 days weekly (generally Monday - Thursday) until tech week which begins on April 13th.

SYNOPSIS

This longest-running and most famous murder mystery play by Agatha Christie has a twist ending that the audience will be asked not to reveal when they leave the theatre!
 

Set in a remote guesthouse in England in 1952, news is heard of a woman who has been murdered. As guests arrive each could be a suspect in the murder, including the hosts themselves.

CHARACTER BREAKDOWN

Mollie Ralston: Female, 20’s-30’s

Proprietor of Monkswell Manor, and wife of Giles. 


Giles Ralston: Male, 20’s-30’s

Husband of Molly who runs Monkswell Manor with his wife. 

 

Christopher Wren: Male, 20’s-30’s

A nervous, flamboyant young man. 

 

Mrs. Boyle: Female, 40+

An older woman who is quite critical of everything she observes. 

 

Major Metcalf: Male, 40+

Retired from the army. 


Miss Casewell: Female, 20’s-30’s

An aloof, unfeminine  young woman. 


Mr. Paravicini: Male, 40+

An overly charming Italian who is made up to appear older than he is. 

 

Detective Sergeant Trotter: Male, 20’s-30’s

The detective who channels Poirot or Sherlock Holmes.

 

Radio Voice: Male
