LOVE CROSSES THE TRACKS

In 1954 Baltimore, the wholesome “Squares” and rebellious “Drapes” clash at a community picnic, where good girl Allison falls for the brooding outsider Cry-Baby Walker. Their romance angers jealous Square leader Baldwin, who frames Cry-Baby for arson and has him sent to jail. As secrets surface and loyalties shift, Mrs. Vernon Williams uncovers the truth and helps clear Cry-Baby’s name. A final musical showdown exposes Baldwin, reunites the lovers, and bridges the town’s social divide.
