STRANGERS. STORIES. STRENGTH.

Come From Away is an uplifting, award-winning musical by Irene Sankoff and David Hein that tells the remarkable true story of kindness in the wake of crisis. When 38 planes carrying thousands of stranded passengers were diverted to the small town of Gander, Newfoundland on September 11, 2001, the local community opened their hearts and homes to the world. What began as an unexpected emergency became a powerful testament to generosity, resilience, and human connection. With its soaring score and deeply human storytelling, Come From Away reminds audiences that even in the darkest moments, compassion can bring us together.
