WHAT TO PREPARE
Please prepare 16 bars from a show similar in style to Young Frankenstein that best shows off your voice. Wear clothing that you can move in as there will be a dance call as well. You may bring a karaoke track that you feel comfortable with to accompany you; YouTube works fine. We will have a speaker that is Bluetooth enabled. There will be no accompanist available.
Due to the content of this show, we are asking that all auditioning for this production are of high school age or older.
SYNOPSIS
This wickedly inspired re-imagining of the legend of Frankenstein is the story of the bright young doctor Frankenstein (that's Fronkensteen) who travels to Transylvania to complete the masterwork of his grandfather by bringing a corpse to life.

Brilliant brain surgeon, professor and grandson of mad scientist Dr. Victor Von Frankenstein.
The Monster - Supporting Male, Baritone/Bass
The misunderstood creation of Dr. Frankenstein.

Igor - Supporting Male, Tenor/Baritone
Frederick’s faithful, bright-eyed, eager servant and friend with a hunchback.

Elizabeth - Supporting Female, Soprano/Mezzo
Frederick's boisterous fiancé.

Frau Blucher - Supporting Female, Mezzo/Alto
Stern housekeeper of the Frankenstein estate and former lover of Victor Frankenstein.

Inspector Kemp - Supporting Male, Baritone/Bass
The head of police in Transylvania. Driven by justice, with a wooden arm and leg.

Harold the Hermit - Supporting Male, Baritone/Bass
A lonely, blind town hermit, hoping for a friend.

Inga - Supporting Female, Soprano/Mezzo
Frederick’s young assistant. Attractive and a resident of Transylvania.
