Long-time Volunteer, Sue Nalepa was awarded the "Jacobus Siebert Hazen Award" for her Years of Service Above and Beyond at the 2017/18 Annual Genie Awards Banquet this past June. Sue and her husband, Larry moved to Sebastian in 1986 and began attending shows at The Guild to meet new friends. Sue began her volunteer work with her husband building sets. She went on to serve many aspects of the theatre’s productions from costumes and ushering to lighting and stage managing. Sue has also appeared on stage in a few productions including “Bye Bye Birdie.” Sue is a graduate of the University of Kentucky and has a degree in Physical Therapy. She retired five years ago but we won’t be saying “Bye Bye” to Sue anytime soon. She enjoys her work with the Guild and we are so grateful to have her. Thank you Sue Nalepa for your dedicated work.
