Calling all Makeup and Theatre Lovers!
Our amazing and brilliant makeup artist at the Guild, Rob Volsky is offering an online version of the highly popular Character Makeup Workshop he presented last year. This pilot program is unique in several ways. Workshop participants will be able to interact with Rob and other students up-close and personal via Zoom!
Classes begin on Friday, September 4 and run through Friday, October 30, 2020. There are 9 sessions in all.
Each of the Friday Fantasy Character Makeup Workshops will demonstrate the use of professional theatrical makeup supplies and students will be invited to TRY THIS AT HOME! With a week in between meetings, students can easily obtain and practice with their own supplies, or suggested products and refine their techniques to share their work in the next meeting. Positive critique and tips for improvement will be provided.
A Mehron Mini-Pro kit is recommended for beginners. Advanced materials may be added, if desired. Students can advance to any level and practice at their own pace. Inspiration from countless online makeup resources will be shared!
Flexibility: Attendance at each meeting is suggested, but not required. Students are encouraged to participate along with the demonstrations, but view-only / record for later is ok, too. Topics will be interest-driven, with an emphasis on The Fundamentals of Makeup Artistry. Each meeting will be unique.
To register and reserve your spot in the gallery, simply click on the JOIN NOW button and you will be able to register and pay directly online with Visa, MasterCard or Discover. A $30 fee is required to be invited to ALL NINE Zoom meetings.
For additional information, you can contact Rob at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Theatre Guild's Digital Theatre & Monday Monologues
Digital Theatre: Who’s on First
Monday Monologues: Defying Gravity
Guild Online Presentations
During the shutdown from Covid-19, volunteer Debbie Brandauer set up two special projects to keep the Vero Beach Theatre Guild active and in front of all our fans, friends and family by producing mini productions on Facebook and YouTube. We've had a great response with both the VBTG Digital Theatre and Monologue Mondays. Our newly appointed social media hosts Tevin Brown and Nikki Przedwiecki will be carrying on the tradition of the Monday Monologues which began in March; so if you would like to participate in this great stay-at-home-project, just follow the directions below. And if you just want to watch the many 5 minute mini plays or Monday Monologues previously posted, check out The Vero Beach Theatre Guild on Facebook, YouTube and Instagram! Now is when we want to feel your love and hope we can count on you to be in our audience when we re-open Jesus Christ Superstar scheduled for January 8, 2021. Please consider becoming a member of the Theatre Guild family for our 2020-21 Season!
YOU TOO CAN BE A STAR!
Video yourself performing a monologue. All monologues must be written by yourself, or royalty free. Videos should be no longer than 3 to 5 minutes in length, and Facebook appropriate. Once recorded, email recording to email@example.com. (Don't forget the 0 in the email address!) In the subject line, please state MONDAY MONOLOGUE SUBMISSION. You may need to use Dropbox if it is too large for your device to send. Once the video is received it will be reviewed by Tevin and Nikki and posted to Facebook and YouTube. Videos are posted in the order they are received. You will get a confirmation email telling you that the video was received, and what your posting date will be. Enjoy being a part of our theatre family!
